SAA Open Houses provide a casual, open forum for learning more about SAA without an appointment or interview. Prospective students, their families, and friends are invited. You can tour the college, have a portfolio review, ask financial aid questions, meet faculty and staff, and enjoy a few snacks!
At our Fall Open House on November 2, it’s all about your portfolio. You can have your portfolio reviewed and learn more about why SAA is a nationally recognized college for graphic design. If you don’t have a portfolio, that’s ok! You can meet with students, alumni, and an SAA recruiter to learn about what should go in your portfolio and why SAA is so special. Our students will show you their actual high school portfolios, walk you through the process, and answer your questions.
Come see us November 2. Now’s your chance. It’s all about you.

Interviewing at an Open House
While we recommend scheduling a college visit and interview while class is in session, we realize that this may not be possible for some students. As a convenience, we welcome you to bring samples of your work and your high school and/or college transcript to an Open House, and you may be accepted on the spot. The samples can include drawings, paintings, computer art, sketchbooks, and/or photography. Most students bring 8–10 pieces, but feel free to bring fewer or more.
