The SAA Library is open Monday-Friday 8-5:30. Students and faculty can find research help, browse for inspiration, study trends and the history of graphic design, work on projects, or just relax with the latest issue of a favorite magazine.
The collection focuses on advertising art, including graphic design, typography, color, painting, illustration, art history, and fine art, as well as marketing, branding, and copywriting. A wide range of periodicals includes Communication Arts, Print, Advertising Age, Adweek, Photo District News, Lurzer’s Archive, and HOW, to name a few.
Digital resources include Artstor, which offers over two million art images from collections around the world; ProQuest Research Library, a multidisciplinary database; Creative Edge, which provides access to more than 15,000 books, videos, and tutorials; and ProQuest Research Companion, which helps students choose topics, and find, evaluate, and cite sources.
