The SAA Library is open Monday-Thursday from 8-5, and Friday from 8-3:30. Students and faculty can find research help, browse for inspiration, study trends, discover the history of graphic design, work on projects, or just relax with the latest issue of their favorite magazine.
The collection focuses on advertising art, including graphic design, typography, color, painting, illustration, art history, and fine art, as well as marketing, branding, and copywriting. A wide range of periodicals includes Communication Arts, Print, Advertising Age, Adweek, Photo District News, Lurzer’s Archive, and HOW, to name a few.
Digital resources include Bridgeman Education Art, which offers nearly a million art images from collections around the world; ProQuest Research Library, a multidisciplinary database; and Creative Edge, which provides access to more than 15,000 books, videos, and tutorials.
