Kettering, OH, September 9, 2016 – The School of Advertising Art (SAA) has started the 2016-17 academic year by reaching a new enrollment milestone and appointing new faculty.
SAA’s total enrollment for the 2016-17 academic year has reached 197 students, representing the highest enrollment ever for the nationally recognized graphic design college. This represents enrollment growth of approximately 73% since 2013.

SAA’s newest incoming class has an average high school GPA of 3.05, and the acceptance rate continues to be more selective, with the most recent rate at 59%.
Jason Farmer, SAA Vice President of Communications & Advancement stated, “SAA is pleased with the growth we’ve experienced the past several years. However, we are most proud to provide creative individuals with an excellent educational experience that will help prepare them for leadership positions in marketing and advertising fields.”
To accommodate the growth in enrollment, SAA has hired the following new faculty and staff members:
- Molly Baker – Adjunct Marketing Instructor
- Natalie Hulla – Adjunct English Instructor
- Susan Jauss – Web Design Instructor
- Kenzie Phillips – Adjunct Graphic Design Instructor
