saa students awarded with 23 awards from the American Graphic Design Awards Competition
Fifteen recent graduates from the school of advertising art (saa) have been recognized with twenty-three awards from the American Graphic Design Awards competition.
In addition, SAA Vice President, Matt Flick, received an award for the design of saa’s 2012 Portfolio Show invitation.
The national competition is sponsored by Graphic Design USA (GD USA) magazine and spotlights areas of excellence and provides recognition for creative professionals and students.
This year’s awards competition attracted more than 8,000 entries nationally; of these, a highly selective 15% were recognized with an Awards Certificate of Excellence.
The winning designs will be published in the 300-page American Graphic Design Awards Annual, which serves as the November/December edition of GD USA. They may also be viewed on the GD USA website in the Online Winners Gallery at http://www.gdusa.com/.
