Hannah Clegg and Zachary Cobb are featured in Graphic Design USA magazine’s (GDUSA) January/February issue as two of the country’s “2015 Students to Watch.” Students highlighted are chosen from leading art and design colleges throughout the country.
Hannah and Zack are currently in their final year at SAA and are planning to pursue careers in graphic and web design after graduation.
Hannah Clegg grew up near Columbus and has always been passionate about art and technology. She discovered a love for design at Delaware Area Career Center’s digital media class, which then brought her to SAA. She plans to work as a web designer and front-end web developer. When she’s not designing, she loves to figure skate and spend time with her family.
A native of Hamilton, Zack Cobb was inspired to pursue a career in graphic design when he was a student at Butler Tech Career Technical Center north of Cincinnati. He has fallen in love with web design and plans to pursue a career in web development. If he’s not sitting in front of his MacBook, you will find him performing on stage with his band Northbound.
“We are so happy for Hannah and Zack and all of the students who have been recognized by GDUSA in the past,” stated Jessica Barry, President at SAA. “This achievement speaks volumes for SAA and the work our students are creating.” SAA students have been included on this prestigious roster by GDUSA since 2010.
Students previously recognized include Brenden Schindler and Christian Smith in 2014, Laura Lyle and Molli Ross in 2013, Ethan Muller in 2012, Candy Niemeyer in 2011, and Travis Runyon in 2010. View the entire 2015 list here: http://gdusa.com/issue_2015/january/stw/.
